The Wine Advocate:

There is a new bottling of the exceptionally old NV The NV Amontillado Viejísimo Montearruit, which is marked as Saca Única 2021 Bota Solera 1/1, an extremely old Amontillado with a hazy dark amber color and a very concentrated saline and rusty nose of iodine, low tide, seaweed and iron. This is an exceptional bottling of a single cask (bota solera one of one, as shown on the label) to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Monte Arruit battle in 1921). They believe the wine is 75 years old (or more); that's also printed on the label. It's on the verge of being painful, with its extreme saline concentration of saltpeter and iodine, pungent and with a long sensation of warmth in the finish. The alcohol is listed as 22% on the label, the maximum legally allowed, and it has a pH of 3.25 and 9.65 grams of acidity from sheer concentration through evaporation. It even has 4.2 grams of sugar from the concentration, even if it comes through as bone dry, given the acidity and alcohol. This is a 2021 bottling of 1,080 hand-numbered half bottles (and 33 more for the family reserve) done in April 2021. This was all the wine contained in the solera barrel of this wine, so its a one-off.
