The Wine Advocate:

The one red from Mallorca is the 2016 8 Vents, from a late and low-ripening year with less alcohol. It's a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Callet and Manto Negro fermented in open wood and stainless steel vats with neutral yeasts and aged in 3,000-liter oak vats and used barriques. I was immediately surprised by the strong herbal strike coming out of the glass, that made me think of a Cabernet Franc from the Loire rather than a Mediterranean red. The Bordeaux varieties clearly dominate the palate too, in flavors and texture of the tannins. It's medium-bodied and balanced, nicely crafted. I would have never guessed Mallorca. Unusual but nice. 20,000 bottles were filled in September 2017.

Suckling:

Wild herbs and fresh bell-pepper aromas and plenty of rich, supple red cherries on the palate. Smooth, long and plush. This is great drinking now.
