The Wine Advocate:

Cropped from a virtually perfect vintage, the 2015 Alalá is pure Albariño from owned or controlled vineyards in the Salnés zone of Rías Baixas. The grapes were picked on September 27th, trodden by foot and put through a cold maceration for 28 hours. They were then fermented with indigenous yeasts and kept in tank with the lees for ten months. The warm vintage was saved by rain before the harvest that helped balance the grapes, which achieved perfect ripeness. The wine is subtle, elegant and aromatic. It is still young and primary but with nuances and elegance I didn't see in previous vintages. It's also cleaner and a lot more focused. The flavors are very focused, with purity, depth and effervescent acidity that makes you salivate. It is sharp and long and would make an ideal partner with seafood when young. If you let it mature in bottle it should be perfect to pair with turbot or other gelatinous or blue fish. 8,000 bottles were filled in September 2016.

James Suckling:

Intense lemon pie character that seems a bit obvious, but this wine is very fresh and crisp with a long delicately mineral finish. Drink now.
