James Suckling:

Aromas of orange zest, sour cherries, pomegranate, flowers and cloves. Light-to medium-bodied with sleek tannins. Juicy and bright. Fresh and peppery with crunchy character and a delicious finish. A blend of espadeiro, caiño and mencía. Drink now.

The Wine Advocate:

There is a big jump in quality in the 2019 O Esteiro when compared with the 2018 that I tasted next to it. There is an extra layer of texture and depth here. 2019 was a fantastic vintage for reds at this address. It's always more or less the same blend of Mencía, Caíño and Espadeiro defined by the vineyards they use. It's produced in a simple way and is a very good reflection of the varieties, the granite soils and the character of the vintage; this vintage is warmer, riper and more complete, with more black peppercorn. It has 11% alcohol. 2,000 bottles produced.
