The Wine Advocate:

Surprisingly enough, the 2019 Amancio feels fresher, younger and with more integrated oak and finer tannins than the 2018 I tasted next to it, a bit of a contradiction, because the style of the vintages should normally mean the opposite. It is medium to full-bodied, with fine tannins and nice balance. 5,000 bottles were filled in February 2022.

Big, bold and intense, Amancio is a Tempranillo that takes no prisoners. Sourced from a 16.5-hectare site at 490 metres in the La Veguilla sub zone of San Vicente, this is quite marked by its 24 months in new oak, but has the dark berry concentration and tannic structure to soak it up. 2025-35.
