James Suckling:

A full-bodied, focused Rioja that has mocha, toast, black-plum and clove aromas. It’s flavorful and well-framed with broad, ripe tannins. Long, spicy finish. Drink or hold.

Decanter:

Aromas of leather, with notes of liquorice, exotic spices, sweet cinnamon and fresh dark plums. Well structured on the palate.
