Some wild herbs and plenty of spicy oak on offer, alongside rich dark plums and berries. This has a very ripe and deeply fleshy core of rich plums and cherries. The tannins are smooth and velvety. A blend of tempranillo, garnacha, graciano, mazuelo, viura, garnacha blanca and malvasia. Drink or hold.
As advertised on the label, seven varieties - three white and four red - make up the blend of this old-vine red from a single site in Mendavia. Showing appealing freshness in a hot vintage, it's mature, balsamic and well balanced, with plenty of oak sweetness and a volatile lift. 2020-24
Sturdy, powerful and lots of dark fruit framed by liquorice and sweet vanilla undertones. Refreshing with beautiful elegance.
