The Wine Advocate:

"The 2016 Blanc de Closos is produced mostly with Garnacha Blanca and also some Macabeo, Cartoixá (Xarello) and Moscatel planted together with the red varieties in the old vineyards. The grapes had a five-day skin contact, something that is traditionally done in the region, and fermented with indigenous yeasts. It matured in one 1,000-liter oak vat until bottling. It's quite different from the majority of whites from the region, perhaps a little less balsamic and more serious, without the overwhelming floral aromas you can sometimes find in Moscatel. You find more of the Moscatel on the palate, where it's livelier than the Blanc de Pissarres, lighter and more fluid. Very tasty. 1,000 bottles were filled in December 2017".
