The 2015 Les Hauts-Conseillants has a lovely floral bouquet with iris scents permeating the blackberry and cassis aromas, all very well defined. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, a fine thread of acidity, fresh from the start with blackberry, black plum, cedar and tobacco on the almost left bank-style finish. Very fine. Anticipated maturity: 2020 - 2030. - Neal Martin.
A pretty wine with chocolate, walnut and spice undertones to the ripe fruit. Medium body, firm and silky tannins and a flavorful finish. Drink now or hold.
Beaucoup de finesse et de suggestion: on est de plain-pied dans le style caractéristique du cru. Le toucher de bouche libère un fruit velouté et capiteux, jamais pesant dans sa structure mais dont la richesse en alcool domine un peu la finale.
