Avaliação dos peritos

James Suckling:

Pretty aromas of wild blackberries, violets, milk chocolate and licorice. It’s medium-to full-bodied with firm, creamy tannins. Polished and concentrated. Better from 2024.

Decanter:

The austerity of the tannins is accentuated at this point after ageing, but backed up by richly layered cassis fruits and a brilliant swish of Médoc eucalyptus. This is going to power through the next decade, and is one to watch out for. - Jane Anson.

Jeb Dunnuck:

There are lots of impressive Moulis in this vintage and the 2018 Château Poujeaux is one of them. This medium to full-bodied, soft, nicely textured, mouth-filling beauty has lots of blackberry and black cherry fruit, notes of tobacco and damp earth, no hard edges, and a great finish. It's certainly an outstanding wine and has another decade of prime drinking or more ahead of it. The blend is 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and the rest Petit Verdot, aged in one-third new French oak.

Le Revue du vin de France:

Avec une trame plus serrée qu'en 2018, le 2019 affiche une belle race. La bouche est effilée et dotée d'une belle finesse.
