Tim Atkin:

Formerly labelled as Viñedos Viejos, Cosme Palacios' Reserva sources its raw material from the length of the Sonsierra between Elvillar and Villalba. Scented and refined, it's a youthful, age-worthy Tempranillo, with adroitly handled new oak, racy acidity and bramble and red berry fruit. Very attractive now and will improve in bottle. 2024-30. 

James Suckling:

Dark plums and some spiced blueberries with a touch of dark chocolate and tobacco. Fresh and fluid on the palate with a medium body and fresh, firm tannins. Good length to close. Drink or hold. (Zekun Shuai)
