Avaliação dos peritos

Wine Enthusiast:

Sourced from a single parcel of Syrah planted in 1955, this benchmark Ventoux red calibrates the penetration and angularity of Syrah with the intensity of Southern Rhône sun and a salty, stony minerality. A powerful wine, it's also dazzling and fresh, with chalky, finely edged tannins and a piercing, crystalline finish. Delicious young, the wine should mature well through 2030 and hold further still.

The Wine Advocate:

Tasted last year from the single new Stockinger foudre, the 2018 Ventoux Divergente is more red-fruited than either the 2017 or 2019. Pencil shavings frame raspberry notes on the nose, while the palate is medium to full-bodied, with a ripe, creamy texture, but also a crisp edge on the crystalline finish. - Joe Czerwinski.

Jeb Dunnuck:

There's a single foudre of the 2018 Ventoux Divergent, and as always, it's primarily Syrah from very old vines grown on limestone soils. Black and blue fruits, violets, graphite, and hints of violets emerge from this fabulous barrel sample that's full-bodied and has beautiful purity as well as notable concentration. I love its tannins, purity of fruit, and overall balance.

James Suckling:

Blackberry, blueberry, cedar, thyme and spice on the nose. It’s full-bodied with firm tannins. Full and rich in the mouth with salty, savory character. Juicy and structured with a wild finish. Try from 2022.
