Domaine de la Vougeraie Nuits-Saint-Georges Clos de Thorey Premier Cru Monopole 2019

This is a bit closed on the nose, but lovely on the palate, with notes of bright red fruit and spice, within a silky, more-ish texture. This 3ha clos is now a Boisset monopole, acquired from Dujac after the Thomas-Moillard deal. Half of the vines at the bottom of the slope are 45 years old, while most of the rest is declassified into Bourgogne. - Charles Curtis MW
