The 2016 Pouilly Fuisse Vieilles Vignes, from vines between 55 and 80 years old, has an attractive, quite strict bouquet with citrus lemon and apple blossom aromas, an underlying mineralité coming through with aeration. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, focused and tensile with quite a persistent citrus finish. This is a well-crafted, fresh and vibrant Pouilly-Fuissé.
This rich wine is dense and concentrated, with beautiful apple and spice flavors lifted by acidity. The fruit and the minerality typical of the appellation give this wine both its fine texture and its tangy fruitiness. Drink from 2018.
Pascal Renaud procede de una antigua familia de viticultores, con raíces en Solutré-Pouilly desde 1927. En 1987 compró la antigua propiedad de la familia Balladur para fundar su propia bodega, que dirige junto a su mujer Mireille.
