Avaliação dos peritos

James Suckling:

Mulberries, blueberries, plums, chocolate and cloves on the nose. Full-bodied with fine tannins. Round and creamy with a velvety texture and a supple finish with excellent length. Blend of 86% tempranillo, 10% cabernet sauvignon and 4% merlot. From organically grown grapes. Another year in the bottle will soften it out. Try after 2022.

The Wine Advocate:

The 2018 Finca Villacreces is a blend of 87% Tempranillo, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Merlot that matured for 15 months in 225- and 500-liter oak barrels, 50% of them new. It's from a cooler year, and the wine has lower alcohol and more freshness but feels quite tannic. It's powerful and concentrated, with marked oak flavors on the finish. This is fresher but oakier than I like. 58,080 bottles and 555 magnums produced. It was bottled in July 2020.
