Fitou sous la Montagne 2017

Dominated by crushed stone and cracked peppercorns on the nose, the 2017 Fitou then comes across as almost jammy in the mouth. It's concentrated and rich, with dense, ripe blackberry fruit and a creamy-velvety texture that bodes well for the future.

Plums, black cherries, spice, blood orange, violets, and passion fruit notes all dominate the 2017 Fitou. It's beautifully textured, medium to full-bodied, and has a singular, exotic character that keeps you coming back to the glass. Based on 50% Carignan, 27% Syrah, and 23% Grenache that was brought up all in tank, it’s an outstanding red ideal for drinking over the coming 4-5 years.
