The Wine Advocate:
The red 2019 Tintilla has some wild notes of cured meat and licorice, spicy, a little dark and with pungent flavors. It's pure Tintilla de Rota (a.k.a. Graciano) fermented in clay pots (tinajas) with indigenous yeasts, and the wine matured in the tinaja for six months followed by a further 12 months in barrique. It's mellow and has good ripeness at 14.5% alcohol, and the palate is soft and sleek. 4,500 bottles were filled in July 2021.

Love this ripe, fruity Tintilla. Has that tell-tale peppery finish that marks out this variety. Lovely deep colour. Great producer.
