Avaliação dos peritos

The Wine Advocate:

The modern and oaky 2018 Finca Zuriena is a white produced with Viura grapes from old vines at 450 meters on alluvial and deep soils interplanted with the red in traditional vineyards. It fermented in concrete and matured in concrete eggs for five months with the lees and a further nine months in French barriques. It has a shy nose, as the variety is not very aromatic. And it is still quite oaky, with a medium-bodied palate with marked chalkiness and a fresh mouthfeel, finishing dry. It has contained ripeness at 13.5% alcohol. 2,850 bottles were filled in March 2020.

Tim Atkin:

A classic field blend, combining Viura and 10% of other mixed white varieties, this hails from parcels between 80 and 120 years' old in Elciego. Toasty and spicy, with smoky new wood and lots of layered, concentrated citrus, pear and stone fruit flavours. Should develop in bottle. Drink date: 2021-25
