The Wine Advocate:

The 2019 La Loma & Los Santos is mostly Garnacha Blanca but also contains some Macabeo from vineyards in Épila and Alpartir. After a 32-hour maceration, it fermented with indigenous yeasts in demi-muid, where it matured for 13 months in a deep cave. 2019 was a warmer and riper year; the wines are more powerful (even if they harvested earlier) and there is a strong imprint from the élevage here, with pungent balsamic aromas, hints of smoke and spices, lees and toasted bread. It has a more Burgundian profile, with a rounder palate and a softer mouthfeel. It should develop in bottle and integrate the oak with a little more time. 2,230 bottles were filled in September 2021.
