Izadi Larrosa Negra 2019

There is a surprising new varietal Garnacha from an old plot in the village of Tudelilla, the 2019 Larrosa Negra, which is a bright ruby colored expression of the grape with plenty of floral aromas and with a clear Mediterranean profile, more Châteauneuf than Gredos, primary, varietal and expressive. The palate is medium-bodied, juicy with ripe fruit flavors and very fine, chalky tannins. This is deliciously satisfying and hedonistic. It matured in used French barriques for seven months, and the oak is neatly integrated and folded into the fruit. 22,795 bottles produced. It was bottled in September 2020.
