The Wine Advocate:
The low-yielding 2019 delivered a soft 2019 La Malvar de Más Que Vinos. It fermented in tinaja (amphora), finished in barrique and then was kept with lees in the tinaja until bottling. There are notes of esparto grass, herbs, fennel and spices, and the palate is medium-bodied with mellow acidity. It's clean and has a dry, chalky finish with a bitter twist. 4,000 bottles were filled in April 2020.
