Avaliação dos peritos

The Wine Advocate:

The top-of-the-range red 2015 Lafou de Batea is a blend of 85% Garnacha and 15% Cariñena from one of the warmest vintages of recent times, when yields were low and the wines concentrated and powerful. It aged for one year in 300-liter oak barrels and concrete eggs. It's a serious and balanced red with ripe fruit but without excess; it has clean aromas (wild berries, aromatic herbs, tree bark, earth), integrated oak and a medium to full-bodied palate with some dusty tannins. It has power and elegance. Very tasty, better with food. 3,000 bottles were filled in May 2017.

James Suckling:

This has wild, roasting herbs and a suite of ripe red and dark berries on offer. The palate has a bright and juicy feel, delivering a refreshing set of fine tannins and bright red fruit. Drink now.
