Las Moradas de San Martín Albillo Real 2020

The white 2020 Albillo Real is now certified organic. It has an expressive nose that mixes notes of white fruit (pears) and flowers (jasmine) with some hints of dry straw and a round palate with good weight and texture, moderate alcohol (13.5%) and good freshness. There's a salty touch in the finish that reflects the granite soils. It matured in used 300- and 500-liter oak barrels with lees and bâtonnage for eight months. 15,372 bottles and 320 magnums were produced. It was bottled in June 2021.
