Avaliação dos peritos

Decanter:

Strictly speaking this is a Blanc de Mandó: white wine from the local red Mandó. Made like a white wine and matured in large underground clay amphoras for six months, the result is pale pink. It’s floral and gloriously juicy in the mouth with orange zest. A Southern treat. Drinking Window 2021 - 2023.

The Wine Advocate:

The 2020 Les Prunes is a still rosé from their range Les Filles d'Amalia, and it is mostly a blanc de noirs, a pale rosé, from Mandó grapes picked at 12.5% alcohol and with a pH of 3.01 and 6.19 grams of acidity (tartaric) and matured in tinaja for six months. It's serious and long, with notes of decayed flowers and orange peel, transparent and delicate. It's very clean, tasty, textured and with a dry, very serious, chalky finish. 10,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2021.
