O Käferberg é dominado por um microclima bastante fresco e uma diversidade assombrosa de solos num espaço muito reduzido, este é o encanto especial desta famosa parcela. Devido a este clima, a variedade Grüner Veltliner armazena uma grande quantidade de minerais e liberta toda a sua delicadeza, tendo como resultado brancos muito elegantes e complexos com aromas de fumo e de especiarias muito interessantes.

"Fred Loimer's 2016 Ried Käferberg "Erste Lage" combines the aromatic fruit of Grüner Veltliner with the spicy smokiness of the Käferberg terroir. The wine opens clear, deep, fresh and complex, with bright fruit aromas and milled stone notes. On the palate, this is a full-bodied, tight, elegant and mineral wine with white fruit flavors and lingering grip and salinity. The finish is pure and powerful, driven by the immense minerality and perfectly ripe fruit. This is a great Grüner Veltliner, probably one of the finest that has been produced along the Danube River in 2016, the Wachau certainly included."
Bastante normalito. Por ese precio se me ocurren varios blancos españoles infinitamente mejores
