Avaliação dos peritos

Tim Atkin:

María hails from two parcels on the estate - Violeta and El Circo - and is a 60/40 blend of the two sites, both of which are at 800 metres. Subtle, structured and refined, it's chalky, intense, well-balanced Tinto Fino with notes of mint and fresh herbs, lots of perfume and the granular tannins that are its calling card. One of the region's very best reds. 2024-35

The Wine Advocate:

The 2018 María is a selection from two plots that seem to complement each other nicely. This is always a more powerful and concentrated wine that sees more new oak (around 25%) where the wine matures for 15 months and needs more time in bottle. It's a modern classical Ribera with 14.5% alcohol and with the freshness and balance from the 2018 vintage. The tannins are very fine, and the wine is full-bodied and fills your mouth. It will improve with more bottle aging. 7,000 bottles and 100 magnums were filled in July 2021.
