Avaliação dos peritos

The Wine Advocate:

Hints of garrigue and crushed stones are bound together by threads of raspberries and dark chocolate in the 2018 Chateauneuf du Pape la Crau de Ma Mere, which is largely derived from old-vine Grenache grown in La Crau. Full-bodied, generous and silky in texture, it's a ripe, seamless effort that should drink well for up to a decade.

Jeb Dunnuck:

The old vine cuvée of the estate, the 2018 Châteauneuf Du Pape La Crau De Ma Mère is 70% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre, and 10% Syrah, all from the La Crau lieu-dit that was raised all in old foudres. It sports a beautiful deep ruby color as well as an earthy, garrigue-like character followed by plenty of kirsch liqueur, ground pepper, and Provençal spices. With medium to full-bodied richness, it displays the softer, more subtle side of the vintage and has good concentration, ripe tannins, and a terrific sense of freshness as well as purity. This beautiful, classic Châteauneuf du Pape is ideal for drinking over the coming 10-12 years, if not longer.
