Point de Vue Blanc by Jeff Carrel 2017

I was blown away by the 2017 Vin De France Point De Vue Blanc, an interesting mix of 70% Riesling and 30% Chardonnay, from tiny yields, brought up in tank. Tons of flinty minerality, crushed mint, citrus blossom, and even a hints of petrol all emerge from this exotic, medium-bodied, beautifully balanced white. It has a clean, dry finish and is just going to sing on the dinner table. If you get a chance to try this wine, don’t miss it.
