Avaliação dos peritos

Tim Atkin:

"I don’t make wines for market," says Benjamín Romeo, a man who has always followed his own style. This full-bodied white blend is a case in point, marrying Viura with 33% Malvasía Blanca and 24% Garnacha Blanca in a concentrated cuvée. Deftly wooded in new French oak, it combines flavours of honey, butter and beeswax that coat the palate. 2022-26

The Wine Advocate:

The white blend 2020 Qué Bonito Cacareaba is 43% Viura, 33% Malvasía and 24% Garnacha Blanca from different vineyards in San Vicente de la Sonsierra and Labastida that fermented and matured in brand-new French oak barrels for 10 months. It's a powerful wine at 15.07% alcohol but with very good freshness, a pH of 3.19 and close to six grams of acidity, as the wine didn't go through malolactic fermentation. It has a combination of citrus and peach aromas, integrated oak with fine spices and a hint of smoke. It has a limestone, chalky sensation on the palate. 6,000 bottles produced.
