Avaliação dos peritos

Tim Atkin:

"If you treat the Rioja Oriental with respect, it returns the favour," says Rodolfo Bastida of this varietal Garnacha from the slopes of the Monte Yerga. Fermented with 10% whole bunches, it combines aromas of aniseed and wild mountain herbs with raspberry and redcurrant fruit and a twist of pepper spice. 2024-30.

Decanter:

Quite restrained aromas of red berry fruit and spicy undertones. Fresh on the palate, very easty to drink. Vibrant.

James Suckling:

Lovely floral aromas of rose petals, tea, tile and Mediterranean herbs. The palate is fresh, with tangy, tasty red fruit character, tight but very drinkable and enjoyable at this point. A bright, savory finish despite the nervy profile. Made from pure garnacha, partly old head-pruned vines with younger ones, at high altitude in Sierra de Yerga. This is in Rioja Oriental, in the southern part of the appellation. Aged in amphorae and concrete with the final stage of homogenization taking place in French oak. Drink now or hold.
