The Wine Advocate:

The eponymous red 2015 Sedella was cropped from a warm and dry year; despite this, the wine is only 13.5% alcohol and has good freshness. It matured in used French oak barrels for 14 months. For the first time, the wine reminded me of an old Colares, with some earthy and rusty aromas, character and rusticity. It really had the aromatic profile of an old red from Portugal (that I love!). There are notes of iron and licorice, and the palate had pungent flavors and fine-grained but slightly pointy tannins. I guess this one is going to age nicely and should behave better with food. Quite unique and characterful. 2,900 bottles produced. It was bottled in December 2016.

Peñín:

Color: cereza intenso, cereza brillante.
Aroma: balsámico, hierbas de monte, fruta confitada.
Boca: lleno, fino amargor, largo.
