Avaliação dos peritos

James Suckling:

Lots of dark-berry and dark-tea aromas with some tree-bark undertones. Full-bodied and round-textured with slightly chewy tannins and a flavorful finish. Needs time to soften. Try after 2021.

Tim Atkin:

Part of a superb current range from Sierra Cantabria, this rich, plush, well balanced Tempranillo comes from two vineyards in San Vicente that produced tiny yields in frost-hit 2017. Sweetly oaked in new French and American wood, this has fine tannins, flavours of black cherry and orange zest and no sign of the difficulties of the growing season. 2022-32

Jeb Dunnuck:

Largely in the same style, yet slightly more closed, the 2017 Colección Privada offers up a rich, decadent nose of vanilla-laced black fruits, tobacco, violets, and toasted spices. It opens up with air and offers more spice as well as a beautiful purity in its darker, almost blue fruits. It's not quite as dense as the 2016 yet is still medium to full-bodied and has a beautiful elegance, silky tannins, and a great finish. It's going to evolve for 10-15 years.
