The 2020 Malvasía Volcánica is even lighter and fresher, at 11.5% alcohol with low pH and notable acidity, than the Vijariego Blanco. This fermented with indigenous yeasts in a 2,500-liter oak foudre and 500-liter oak barrels, where it matured with lees for 10 months. Malvasía Volcánica is a natural crossing between Marmajuelo and the Malvasía Aromática, and the wine is floral and perfumed, with a honeyed touch but with a citrus side to it. It has a vibrant palate reminiscent of some young whites from Rías Baixas, with marked acidity and a vibrant, effervescent sensation in the palate. This is medium-bodied, somewhat lighter than the rest. 3,700 bottles were produced. It was bottled in June 2021.

Very aromatic. Honey, membrillo, pear but a very Atlantic palate. Saline with a green apple zingy acidity. Interesting first añada.
Vino curioso. No es una malvasía al uso. Gustó mucho en nuestro grupo de cata.
