The 2018 Vetus follows the path of the rest of the 2018s, a cool year that they say resulted in wine with less structure than the 2017s and with moderate alcohol and acidity. I like the elegant and fresh style and the integrated oak. It has black fruit and some notes of herbs, spices and licorice. The palate is medium to full-bodied with abundant, slightly dusty tannins. It follows the path of the 2016. 18,347 bottles were filled in April 2020.
Black fruit, dried herbs, cloves, cedar and toasted oak on the nose. Full-bodied with chalky tannins. Dark, rich and structured with a chewy finish. Another year or two would soften this.
Tras seleccionar cuidadosamente diferentes parcelas, la familia Antón elaboró el primer Vetus en 2003, un vino ideado para mantener la esencia de Toro con nuevos matices.

A besoin d'être bien aéré (2/3h) et d'accompagner un bon repas, c'est compote de fruits noirs, noix de coco, vanille, du velour! Top.
Rojo picota y capa alta. En nariz fruta negra. En boca fruta roja y café. Posgusto agradable a compota y regaliz.
