Like the Cabernet Sauvignon, there is also a 2018 Aconcagua Alto Carmenere that was about to be bottled in November 2019. It contains 7% Petit Verdot and was fermented in stainless steel and then was put in French oak barrels (35% of which were new) for malolactic fermentation and an aging of around 14 months. It feels like a step up from the Max Reserva in precision and freshness, with herbal and peppery varietal aromas and a serious palate with abundant, slightly chalky tannins and a dry, serious finish. There will be around 60,000 bottles.
Aromas of green cloves with some Japanese bell peppers and blueberries. Be ready for the green character. Full to medium body, firm and silky tannins and a creamy finish. Polished and balanced. Drink or hold.

No me gusto nada.
Muy buen vino que me reafirma en mi gusto por la Carmenere (o quizá esto sea al revés)
