The Wine Advocate:

The grand rosé 2021 Le Rosé is really a clarete made from 50% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) and 50% white Albillo, from a plot called Carresoto in the village of Miño de San Esteban at 950 meters above sea level on 30 to 50 centimeters of sand and then the limestone mother rock. The pressing follows the Champagne pressing to obtain the first must to ferment this rosé in new Darnajou 600-liter oak barrels where the wine matured for five months; the shorter élevage (and perhaps the barrels) seems to result in better integration of the oak with the wine. It has 14.57% alcohol and retained high acidity and a low pH, denoting lots of freshness from a cool and rainy year. It's pale and elegant, balanced and fresh, clean and precise but with power and clout too. Amazing. 1,533 bottles were filled in May 2022.

Tim Atkin:

One of the most ambitious rosados in Ribera del Duero, both in terms of price and quality, this equal partnership of Tinto Fino and Albillo Mayor hails from a single parcel, called Carresoto, at 950 metres in San Esteban de Soria. Quince, red cherry and pink grapefruit flavours are framed by subtle spices from fermentation in new French barrels. 2023-26
