Avaliação dos peritos

The Wine Advocate:

"The 2012 Atteca falls in the official category of "old vines" as defined by the Calatayud appellation, produced with Garnacha vineyards over 35 years of age with yields of no more than 4,500 kilos of grapes per hectare. Despite the ten months the wine aged in barrel, the oak is at the forefront with plenty of smoky, toasty and spicy notes overlaying the ripe black fruit underneath. The palate is full-bodied, with plenty of tannins and some dryness towards the end. It still needs time to digest the oak. Very good value. 72,000 bottles produced."

Stephen Tanzer´s International Cellar:

"Glass-staining purple. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, licorice and cola. Juicy, minerally and sweet, with very good depth of flavor and slow-building smokiness. Finishes quite long, with fine-grained tannins and lingering spiciness."
