The Wine Advocate:

The 2015 Baltasar Gracián Garnacha Viñas Viejas is a selection of old vines in the cooler part of Calatayud that results in a ripe, juicy and heady red. It fermented in concrete vats and matured mostly in oak barrels for ten months, but they have also recently introduced 5,000- and 10,000-liter oak vats for its élevage. It's ripe without excess, with a mixture of red and black fruit, clean, with a spicy touch. The palate is medium to full-bodied with fine-grained tannins and very tasty flavors. 100,000 bottles produced. First bottled in 1998, this is the cooperative's flagship bottling.
