Named after the drizzle that "soaks fools" who forget to pack an umbrella, this was one of the discoveries of my trip. Sourced from a 0.5-hectare sub-parcel of what Sonia Costa calls "more powerful soils" in Cambados, it's a scented, refined, layered Albariño that boasts a combination of structure and freshness, with notes of wet stones from fermentation in concrete eggs, ample minerality and a creamy, waxy finish. 2023-28
