Plush and sweet fruit aromas and a generous, spicy palate with red berries and black cherries. A really enjoyable glass of wine, feels very modern in style and is ageing quite gracefully.
An attractive Rioja with firm, complete structure and stature on the palate. Dark spices, black chocolate and dark mushrooms to the savory cherries and blueberries. Dissolved tannins on the medium- to full-bodied palate with a juicy and long finish. Outstanding quality. Tempranillo with 20% graciano. Drink now or keep holding.
Vineyards close to the bodega in Laguardia supply the raw material for this modern, welljudged assemblage of Tempranillo and 20% Graciano. Serious, concentrated and grippy, it has toasty new French oak, layers of dark berry fruit, a balsamic twist and the freshness that's typical of the 2016 vintage. 2024-29
