Avaliação dos peritos

James Suckling:

A beautifully constructed young Bordeaux with blackberry, walnut, nutmeg, dried herb and bark. Full-bodied with round, creamy tannins and a flavorful finish.

Wine Enthusiast:

Barrel Sample. Always an impressive estate, this latest vintage is at the top of its game. The density of the dusty tannins and the richness of the black fruits are finely balanced, poised with acidity keeping things fresh. The wine has a great future.

Decanter:

Tight tannins, austerity through the mid palate. Bright fruit on the attack, and this is a well constructed wine with ambition. 2.5% Cabernet Franc completes the blend. A yield of 37.5 hl/ha. Drinking Window 2025-2038.

Jeb Dunnuck:

An impressive looking Moulis, the 2020 Château Chasse-Spleen has a perfumed, exotic nose of red and black fruits, cedarwood, flowers, and sappy herbs. This carries to a medium-bodied, nicely concentrated, pure, elegant 2020 with plenty of structure as well as length. It's going to need bottle age, which is rare for most Moulis, yet it's impressive.
