Avaliação dos peritos

Decanter:

It shows class on the nose, with ripe black fruit aromas and well-judged oak providing an spicy touch. Ample weight on the palate, poised and savoury.

Wine Enthusiast:

Vineyards close to the Gironde estuary have produced a rich wine, firm with generous tannins. It has concentration and spice along with black-plum fruits. Likely to age well, it will be ready from 2026. Roger Voss.

The Wine Advocate:

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2019 Chateau Laffitte Carcasset leaps from the glass with notes of freshly crushed blackberries, warm blackcurrants and redcurrant jelly plus hints of violets, pencil shavings, wild sage and beef drippings. Medium-bodied, the palate is chock-full of crunchy black fruits, supported by ripe, grainy tannins and compelling freshness, offering a satisfying finish of fresh berries with a minty kick.

James Suckling:

A pretty nose of blackcurrants, plums, blueberries, incense and dried spices. Medium-bodied with chewy tannins. Structured, with plenty of black fruit on the palate and a firm yet juicy finish. Cabernet sauvignon, merlot and cabernet franc. Drink from 2023.
