Lot 220125 must correspond to the bottling date, 25th of January 2022, for the NV Pedro Ximénez, a sweet wine with a dark and dense, mahogany color with a green edge, sticky. It has notes of dates, prunes, raisins and carob beans (algarrobas), the mandatory 15% alcohol and 381 grams of sugar with 4.2 grams of acidity. It comes through as dense and quite sweet, with moderate freshness and a finish of burnt sugar and molasses. 2,000 half-liter bottles were produced.
This has very rich, complex style with dark-plum essence and raisin flavors, along with grilled almonds and dark chocolate. Super smooth, round and long. Drink now.
