Cos Pés 2015

The 2015 Cos Pés is a kind of orange Albariño from 40-year-old vines on sandy, granitic soils. 100% full clusters and skins were fermented without temperature control for two months, and the wine was kept in used 500-liter oak barrels for 12 months. It's a golden-color, pungent and intense white, with notes of quince, apricot and lanolin; a little too marked by the process for my taste. The palate is subtly tannic, a little un-Albariño, ideal for white meat. 1,200 bottles were filled in December 2016.
