Decanter:

Rich, ripe opulent nose with red and black plums and delicate vanilla. Lean mid palate with mellow tannins and strawberry fruit, with a long, creamy finish.

James Suckling:

Roasted walnuts and chocolate to the cherries and dark plums. This is juicy and expressive on the medium-bodied palate with fine, silky tannins and a very long and nicely creamy finish with a hint of vanilla to the succulent red berries. Drink now but can hold too.

International Wine Challenge:

Vanilla spice is generous with plums and blackberries concentration, liquorice and mocha, some stewed plums. Long cocoa driven finish.
