"Top of the range, for now, as they hope to one day release a number 1, is the 2015 Os Cantals, cropped from older Garnacha vines, all head-pruned and dry-farmed and planted on stony, deep, limestone and clay soils. After 48 hours in a cold room, the grapes are destemmed and fermented in 600-liter oak foudres with indigenous yeasts. Then the wine is transferred to new barriques for malolactic and an élevage that lasts 10-12 months. This is a wine designed for the long haul, selected from their two best vineyards in the village of Ainzón, with quite an imprint from the élevage right now, and will need more time in bottle. But at this point in time you need to guide yourself by the palate, where the tannins are very fine and there is good balance and freshness. This is a wine from Borja, where power is a given and the challenge is to find finesse and balance. 3,500 bottles were filled in April 2017".
Esta bodega nace de una gran amistad y de una verdadera pasión por el vino. De otra manera sería difícil entender cómo uno de sus socios dejó su profesión y el otro puso a disposición del proyecto su garaje y sus viñas familiares.

Espectacular esta segunda añada de Fernado/ bodegas San Alejandro,mejor que la 1ª,y confío que la 3ª aún sea mejor(lo veo complicado),3,75 ☆
3,75☆para otra gozada de Fernando y cia, y como de costumbre me han podido las ansias,porque un par de años más de botella lo harán sublime
mucho mejor su hermano menor as ladieras

No me cabe duda de 2 cosas: que para llegar a la 4ta☆ necesita afinarse un poco más en botella, y que este vino estará entre los n°1 pronto
No se pq esperava mes d´aquest vi i no ha sigut aixi. He tastat garnatxes a preu mes baix q m´han agradat mes! Un vi normal pel meu gust
