James Suckling:

Aromas of blackberries and cherries with flowers and orange peel. It’s full-bodied, layered and powerful with chewy tannins that are polished and intense. Needs time to soften. Better after 2022.

María Larrea makes this ultra-reliable Reserva with Tempranillo and 15% Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo, sourced from vineyards between 500 and 600 metres in Haro and Rodezno. Fresh, appealing and well-balanced, CVNE's red-fruited, subtly oaked red shows no sign of the heat or low yields of the vintage. 2022-29.
