El Yesal 2021

Under 900 bottles are made of this wine that comes from a 100-year-old vineyard site, planted in an amphitheatre in Tirapu just south of Pamplona. The Garnacha here offers a floral expression of the variety with gorgeous violet and rose alongside an explosion of red cherries and raspberry. Chalky tannins with some spice on the finish give this wine a fresh lift. It is light without being light on flavour and is charmingly rustic in the best sense of the word. 2024-28
