"The 2011 Facundo is red blend from different valleys and grapes, Maule and Itata, Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc from granite soils. It has a reticent serious nose with minty and earthy notes, feeling Atlantic and Mediterranean, with a supple palate and abundant dusty tannins. There is a project to bottle the un-oaked components of this wine to create a new blend. I tasted the 2012 version of it, and it’s juicy, with red berry aromas and flavors and a spicy personality. They never stop experimenting and finding new ways. Drink now-2017".
