Ferraton Côte-Rôtie Lieu Dit Montmain 2020

A step up, the 2020 Côte Rôtie Lieu Dit Montmain comes from a single vineyard in the northern part of the appellation. It has darker, almost blue fruits as well as plenty of minerality in its sappy flower, pepper, and scorched earth-like aromatics. These carry to a medium to full-bodied, elegant, wonderfully balanced Côte Rôtie offering fine tannins and outstanding length. It has some accessibility but is going to benefit from 4-5 years of bottle age. It should have 15-20 years of overall longevity.
